‘Lacquer Wall Designs – Contemporary Japanning Lacquer’.
Using our paint alchemy skills we have created the HV’Art lacquer paint system to create beautiful high gloss lacquer wall & ceiling designs. As with all our finishes we do not use oil based mediums for environmental & health reasons. Our lacquer finishes are waterborne, totally colour fast and will remain looking stunning with no yellowing or fading. We incorporate our soft passaggio finish beneath the lacquered surface to give a glazed ceramic like appearance. These finishes have the essence of the past as they feel like traditional Japanning lacquers with soft watery vibration, depth and soul. Lacquered walls are dramatic and not for the faint hearted be it client or craftsmen.
The process is extremely labour-intensive but they create unforgettable, exciting rooms.
